CRUX Canyon Training - Vital Skills: June 30th-July 2nd
Crux is defined as a decisive or pivotal point of difficulty. In technical canyoneering the crux may be a long rappel, an intimidating keeper pothole, or anything that impedes your safe descent through a canyon. One of the greatest aspects of canyoneering is that every canyon offers new and interesting challenges to problem solve. Some of these challenges can quickly become an almost impassable crux. The crux canyon course offers you the skills to start to descend intermediate canyons and will take you from being a passive canyon
passenger to a competent participant of the problem solving team.
